ICatSE Consortium

ICatSE consortium is represented internationaly by a team from 3 countries – Taiwan, Latvia and Lithuania. The main originality and innovation of this project is ability to develop cheap platinum-free anode and cathode catalyst for low temperature fuel cells. With the competence of Latvian State Institute of Wood Chemistry to synthesize wood-derived carbon nanomaterials, with the experience of catalyst functionalization and their characterization at the Center for Physical Sciences and Technology and National Cheng Kung University, it is possible to develop commercializable catalyst materials by the current Latvian-Lithuanian-Taiwanese consortium.
